Prepare to be swept away by the beautiful melodies of one of the best-known violin concertos - Tchaikovsky’s Violin Concerto, performed by CSO Associate Concertmaster, Josh Holritz. Brahms’ Symphony No. 1 was a struggle for him to complete – taking almost 14 years. With its timeless melodies and soaring horn calls, you might just find yourself on the edge of your seat. The program is rounded out with Florence Price’s Adoration.

What to expect:
-A virtuoso performance from Chattanooga’s own Josh Holritz.
-Music from two contemporaries who, despite having an amicable personal relationship, were highly critical of each other’s work (Tchaikovsky and Brahms).

Spotlight Talks take place prior to select Barnett & Company Classics Series concerts from 6:45 - 7:15 PM and are FREE to concert ticket holders. 

Attendance at Spotlight talks is limited to 45. First come, first served.  Spotlight Talks are free to attend, but attendees must hold tickets to the evening's performance.
