Performers: Wind Quintet

The CSO welcomes everyone to our performances, but we know that some patrons hesitate to attend a live concert without knowing how they might react. Open Chord is our sensory-friendly program designed to use the power of music to foster connection, understanding, and emotional well-being. It focuses on creating supportive musical experiences that are sensitive to the unique needs of individuals, including those with disabilities or those reintegrating into society. The program aims to meet people where they are, offering them a space to engage with live music in a way that feels both accessible and empowering.

What to Expect:

This concert is designed for patrons 12 and up. Our goal is to have a listening concert experience. The concert will have a short 10-minute intermission where patrons are invited to engage with one another and then return to their seats.

Seating will be open, quiet spaces will be available, and headphones and manipulatives will be on hand. Patrons are welcome to bring their own. 

NOTE: For those with sensory needs, headphones are strongly encouraged for the Brass performance.

This performance is FREE, but a ticket reservation is appreciated.
