Member Advisory Council (MAC)

Applications for the 24-25 Season will open August 12

Each season, a panel is formed of volunteer student leaders representing each section of the Symphony and Philharmonic orchestras (strings, woodwinds, brass and percussion).

This panel meets monthly with the Music Director, Assistant Conductor and at times the CSO Director of Education & Community Impact. Panel members can collaboratively share feedback about the CYS member experience, including music selection, policies, events and programs. They also act a liaison for other members to pass on feedback.

This is a season long commitment.

Members must:

  • Be a current member of Philharmonic or Symphony
  • Be on-track for attendance, participation, and behavior.
  • Complete application.
  • Obtain one (1) letter of recommendation.
  • Interview with the Music Director and CSO Education Director.
