From Beethoven’s “Pastoral” Symphony, to Reshpighi’s “The Birds” and “Pines of Rome,” to Smetana’s “The Moldau” and so many more, we’ll listen to glorious music inspired by the natural world around us.
All About Brahms

When asked about Johannes Brahms’ music, the renowned British conductor Sir Thomas Beecham supposedly remarked, “That old bore?.” I know that there are a few folks who feel that way, but for me, I love the music of Brahms deeply and cannot wait to take this journey talking about his life and times, and exploring the many highlights of his career as one of the “Three B’s!”
The John Williams Saga

By the time this class happens, John Williams will be deep into the composition of the soundtrack for the ninth, and final, Star Wars movie!! What a life, what a career, and what music!!! As always, I cannot wait to explore the incomparable variety and constant brilliance of John’s life’s work We’ll listen to the scores we all know, and to a few off the beaten track, and I know you’ll enjoy the ride!
