Vienna, My Home

Composers have been inspired by the streets of Vienna for hundreds of years. Take a walk with Bob through the music of Mozart, Beethoven, and others who have called Vienna home.

With more than two decades of opera conducting, Bob knows his way around the opera world. This class is for opera newbies – we’ll introduce opera terms – and for long-time opera lovers alike as we celebrate the CSO’s Opera Week and the upcoming production of Carmen in April of 2019.
See the CSO dressed down and up close as it rehearses for an upcoming Masterworks concert. Attendees may have the opportunity to hear from composers, guest artists, and CSO musicians during rehearsal.
