Chattanooga Symphony & Opera’s Big Band Fever Returns Valentine’s Day Weekend

The Chattanooga Symphony & Opera’s popular Big Band Fever concert will return to the Tivoli Theatre on Friday, February 14 and Saturday, February 15 at 7:30pm. The annual Valentine’s weekend performance will feature live swing music from Principal Pops Conductor Bob Bernhardt and the CSO Big Band. Chattanooga native and former Glenn Miller Orchestra performer Valerie Duke will return as guest vocalist, lending her talents to songs by legendary artists such as Sarah Vaughn, Cole Porter, and more.

Attendees can enjoy the concert from their seats or dance the night away on one of two dance floors. Kyle Barels of Dance Tonight Chattanooga will also provide ticketholders with a free dance lesson prior to each performance, beginning at 6:45pm. “Big Band Fever is one of our most popular concerts each year,” says Samantha Teter, CSO Executive Director. “With the ability to dance onstage, we see a wide array of ages from teens to seniors. It’s just a night of fun, upbeat, nostalgic music.”

Tickets begin at $21 and can be purchased by calling the CSO Box Office at 423.267.8583 or by visiting the CSO’s website at
