As the CSO prepares for its performance of the Mahler SYMPHONY #5, join Bob in an encore presentation of his class on the extraordinary life and times of Gustav Mahler. Known in his lifetime as a supremely gifted, demanding and brilliant conductor and far less so as a composer, this class tries to bring you closer to the complicated genius that he was, to explore his musical legacy, and will end with a survey of his magnificent Fifth Symphony.
