Have you been harboring a secret yen to dust off that old trumpet or get the cello out of the closet? Want to know what it feels like to join 60 professional musicians for an orchestral masterpiece? Pull out your trumpet, tune-up your violin, and dust off the snare drum to join the CSO in a community play-along! All amateur musicians are invited to participate. Three different performance times (1pm, 2pm, and 3pm) will allow lots of community members to play with us. Mark your calendar and come sit-in with us!
Our Youth Orchestra Ensembles will open the market from 11:30-1, with performances and an instrument "petting zoo" from 1 to 3:30. Then, the CSO takes the floor of the pavilion from 1-3:30pm joined by YOU!
Registration fee of $25.00 assures your chair and a commemorative tshirt and a ticket to Saturday's performance of Elvis & Mahler too! Registration is required and will be limited by instrument. Please call 423.267.8583 to register.
