Instrument Petting Zoo

The CSO operates an “instrument petting zoo” at many community concerts and family events.  At the petting zoo, a variety of real orchestral instruments are displayed and participants are encouraged to pick up, touch, and play the instruments.  The instruments are donations received from community members and are gently used, which allows the CSO and participants to experiment with them.
