Emily Anderson, Manager
CSO Youth Orchestras

Emily Anderson is a recent addition to the staff of the Chattanooga Symphony Youth Orchestras and is a native of Cleveland, Tennessee. She began playing piano at age five and then moved on to clarinet, oboe, percussion, alto saxophone, and violin. Emily continues to play oboe and alto sax, and now also serves as drum major in the ARMY National Guard Band in Atlanta, GA.

Emily is a member of the Cleveland Music Association and had the honor of playing for the inauguration of Governor Sonny Perdue. She and her husband play in the Greater Cleveland Community Band and Westwood Baptist Church Orchestra.

Emily is a graduate of Covenant College with a B.S. in Organizational Management and Leadership and has recently chosen to leave the traditional business world for a job that would not only cater to her detailed business mind but also encompass her hobby and love of music as manager of the CSOYO. She enjoys spending free time with her husband, Garold, and two children, Austin (4) and Autumn (2).
